About us

Development Management Institute (DMI) is an academic institution dedicated to postgraduate and mid-career professional education, interdisciplinary action research, and consulting in development management. It was established by the Government of Bihar.

We adopt case-based, dialogic methods in pedagogy to iteratively connect knowledge and practice — so that growth is not only achieved but distributed and dispersed.

Vision: The preferred destination for interdisciplinary education and research on policies, institutions and practices in development management.
Mission: Advance development management knowledge and practice through collaborative research, education and innovation that empower grassroots communities.
